Staff in the Safe Haven Advanced Care Unit bring a special blend of expertise and compassion to assist residents and their families dealing with the latter stages of Alzheimer's Disease. The staff is specially trained to deal with residents’ complex physical, emotional and mental health needs, and they are highly skilled in communications, feeding, pain management and compassionate end-of-life care. Individualized care plans are developed for each resident to enhance functioning, accommodate personal preferences and reduce symptoms. With one staff person for every five residents, you can be assured that each person receives love and attention every day.

Residents in our Safe Haven Gardens unit are assured priority placement in the 41-bed Advanced Care unit and individuals coming from home or other facilities are admitted when space is available.
