Established over 135 years ago, Steere House is rich in history which is reflected in some of the artwork and furnishings of the house so many call home. An inner-city facility, Steere House boasts many of its residents and employees from our South Providence neighborhood, enhancing the culture and diversity indicative of our Steere House community today. Every effort is made to create a warm, homey environment - both inside and out.
The facility is surrounded by city gardens and patios while the layout inside features discrete living environments to meet the different needs of our residents.
