Julie Richard, NHA, MA, Executive Director/Administrator
Julie is a member and past president of RIAFSA, a member of the Rhode College of Health Care Administrators, and Treasurer of the Woonsocket Rotary Club. She has worked in various nursing home settings for more than 25 years, both for profit and not for profit, and brings extensive leadership experience to her role at Steere House. Julie earned her masters degree in Health Care Administration from Framingham State, and her bachelor's degree from Providence College.
Aman Nanda, M.D., Medical Director: Dr. Nanda is a practicing geriatrician and board certified in internal medicine. He received his medical degree from RNT Medical College in Rajasthan, India. Dr. Nanda completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. He is a faculty member at Brown University School of Medicine and teaches in the Geriatric Fellowship Program at Brown University.
Dianne Bourget, Director of Finance: Dianne has been with Steere House for more than 10 years and has over 20 years of experience in the health care field. She has held positions in long term care as diverse as Admissions Coordinator, Payroll and A/R Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant. Dianne began her career at Steere House in 1993, leaving in 1995 upon the birth of her third child. She returned in 2001 as Co-Business Manager, becoming Director of Finance in 2005. She is currently working toward a degree in Health Care Administration through Distance Learning at Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
Nicole Plante, RN, BSN, Director of Nursing: Nicole is responsible for the nursing services provided to residents and patients. Nicole earned her bachelors of science degree from Salve Regina University, and has worked in long term care for more than ten years.
Leslie Richardson, RN, Assistant Director of Nursing/Director of Staff Development: Leslie is responsible for staff education and training as well as assisting the Director of Nurses as needed and in her absence. She received her degree in Nursing from Community College of Rhode Island and has more than twnety years of experience in long-term care. Her immediate staff includes:
Dorothy D. Nicholls, L.C.S.W., Director of Social Services: Dorothy works with the skilled patients and their families to coordinate discharge plans and arrange follow up services at home. She earned an MSW at Rhode Island College and has worked at Steere House since 1983.
Gina Williamson, Activities Director
Gina plans, schedules and provides for residents’ and patients’ social services and entertainment. She has received her certification as an activities professional in gerontology from CCRI. Gina has been employed at Steere House since 1993.
Denise A. Trimble, R.N.C., Admissions Coordinator: Denise has worked at Steere House since 1990. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing.
Morrison Senior Services Team
In Fall of 2008, Steere House partnered with Morrison Senior Services to assume responsibility for key operating functions, including dining, plant maintenance and housekeeping services. By joining forces with Morrison, Steere House has already benefited from their systerms and operations expertise and deep group purchasing power, as well as the emergence of career growth opportunities for some of our in-house staff members.
